ANCONA

LORETO

Loreto is located on a hill between the river valleys of Musone and Potenza and it is a major pilgrimage destinations in the world. It is famous for the Basilica of the Holy House, namely the "room" of the Virgin Mary, whose walls were moved to this place from Nazareth in 1294, flew by angels (according to tradition) or transported by sea from men as a precious relic (according to reliable hypothesis of scholars). RECANATI

Recanati is located on the ridge of a long and winding hill at 296 meters above the sea level, between the valleys of the rivers Potenza and Musone. FRASASSI CAVES
